Alongside my design career, I've spent years operating at the intersection of music, technology, and DJ culture.

As a former professional DJ, I've maintained close connections across the electronic music industry and regularly engage with founders, artists, labels, and music technology companies. I'm part of the Music Tech UK (MTUK) community, where I share ideas and insights with people across the music ecosystem, including teams from Beatport, Songstats and Evermix.

More recently, I've been working closely with the CEO of Evermix, the DJ technology company behind the acquisition of DJKit, exploring opportunities around DJ technology, tracklists, artist data, and music discovery. These conversations and collaborations have provided valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing DJs, artists, and the wider music industry.

Combined with my background as a professional DJ and product design leader, these experiences have helped shape the vision behind SONQ: a platform connecting DJs, artists, labels, venues, and fans through verified tracklists, release data, and richer music experiences.
